The Sydney Garden of Jonathan West, Shauna Greyerbiehl and Family. The kauri pine doors with brass detailing form a lovely focal point from the house. The crepe myrtle (Lagerstroemia ‘Natchez’) frames the space and will eventually provide a shade canopy. The shaggy plant on the back wall is a Grevillea ‘Moonlight’. The small tree to the right of the doors is a maple (Acer japonicum ‘Aconitifolium’) Photo – Daniel Shipp. Production – Lucy Feagins/The Design Files and Georgina Reid/The Planthunter.

The Home Of The Design Files’ Managing Editor, Sally Tabart!

Today is a very exciting day in The Design Files (currently virtual) office, as we’re bringing you the home of our very own managing editor, Sally Tabart!

Sally and her partner Jeremy bought this Thornbury 1920s double-fronted bungalow in June of 2019. Although the couple and their housemates have only been in the house for just under a year, they’ve wasted no time in making it their own! The house is filled with vintage pieces and art by local creatives, all of which express Sally’s eternally sunny personality (with lots of TDF ‘Easter Eggs’ in there!)

We know you’re going to love this one!
