When interior designer, stylist and owner of Studio Ezra and Tiles of Ezra  Georgia Ezra, and her husband, Richard Morris of Morris & Co construction, first saw this Spanish Mission style home in Caulfield just last year, they knew they could create their dream family home here.

Just a year later, and Georgia and Richard have transformed the home into a serene, Mediterranean-inspired family residence. They live here with son Jesse (3) and daughter Halle (8 months).

What does the home of a passionate ceramics store owner look like? Exactly as you imagine!

This Northcote apartment is the residence of Irina Rybakov, owner of pépite, (our favourite purveyor of interesting local ceramics!) and her partner, Carlo Demaio, a social impact strategist. Soon, it will also be home to their baby daughter… which, we dare say, might result in a little ceramics re-arranging!

After moving into a converted cowshed at the end of her parents’ property (!) in Byron Bay, architectural designer Zana Wright and her partner, builder Sam Jolly designed and built this absolutely stunning new self-contained home on the property. Honestly, have you ever seen anything so serene?

The new house is made of local materials, and is deeply connected to the environment. The deal is that Zana, Sam and their baby Lumi rent the home they designed and built for the moment, with Zana’s parents set to move in later when they are ready to downsize. Everyone wins!

Oh boy, this house is AMAZING! A mid-century gem in Mount Martha designed by none other than Karl Fender (now one half of Fender Katsalidis!).

Katie Brannaghan and husband Ian, a dentist in Melbourne, purchased this property in 2017, and undertook some massive renovations to revive this modernist marvel. The house is now occasionally listed on airbnb, but act quickly if you are keen to stay – the lush green carpet and gently curving pool is mostly reserved for family getaways with the couple’s daughters Milla (12) and Yvie (9). Having a baby and renovating a home must be two of the most stressful and exciting life transitions… graphic designer Holly McCauley and husband Nich Zalmstra, an apprentice cabinet maker, who dabbles in filmmaking!) undertook both at once, when transforming this 80s fibro shack into a family home.
